About the Student Committee:

The Student Committee of Sports Medicine Research Center (SMRC) gives undergraduate medical students the opportunity to learn how to do research. In this regard, enthusiastic students can be involved in the running researches of SMRC and learn research skills by working closely with faculties who are distinguished scientists and clinicians. Besides, the Student committee holds workshops on a variety of research skills topics, chaired by students or faculties. Research Opportunities

There are five active research groups at the SMRC:

• Spine research group
• Sport psychology research group
• Female athletes' research group
• Sport Nutrition research group
• Orthopedic sports Medicine

Undergraduate medical students can participate in research programs of one of the research groups as well as miscellaneous projects that run by the faculties in other topics of the sports medicine such as cardiac rehabilitation and sport injuries.
