Mission, vision and Goals:
The Orthopedic Sports Medicine Research Group commenced the research activities in 2011. The objective was to identify the underlying mechanisms of musculoskeletal injuries. Discovering and developing effective interventions for prevention , diagnosis as well as treatment is appreciated.The main interests:
- Musculoskeletal injuries and malalignments in lower exterimities (more concern on Knee and ankle injuries.)
- Basic research in orthopedic Biomechanics ,to implement therapeutic interventions and educational programs through understanding the injury mechanisms
- Surface EMG in evaluating activity of extremity muscles during exercise
